PROJECTS Can Go from GOOD to GREAT With FREE SOFTWARE

Sometimes we fret because the budget won't allow for the purchase of softtware that will help with a special project. If your creativity is your individual responsibily, software you can use to get the job done is available free. If you manage your own creativity choosing to pay when it isn't a deductible business expense doesn't make a lot of sense.

Here you will find a few choices that may allow you to add that professional look without adding professional expense. Investing the time it takes to add to your project could be worh it

  • Check out GIMP where you'll find image editing tools much like Photoshop. The GIMP download is Free.
  • Check out NVu, a free download, where tools for creating webpages with Dreamweaver-like tools. Dreamweaver offers tools that make adding Flash and Javascript behaviors that are not automatically available with NVu. A bit of creativity and a visit to a javascript source can help
  • Javascript behaviors can be sdded to you pages with a visit here: http://javascript.internet.com/ where you can add code to your pages after viewing options available. Thie is one of several resouces that surface when you GOOGLE for javacript.
  • Microsoft OFFICE now at 2007 for PC and 2008 for Mac has a look-alike suite that is a free download at OpenOffice.org

Here we've shown a few examples of what open source tools are available. There are others you may have the time to investigate while searching for cost effective ways for getting the required tools to accomplish your project. Remember to chech that the soource of any download you consider comes from the developers of the tools. As this is written, each of the tools listed come as FREE downloads. BROWSER Behavior

Internet browsers are for just that - navigating your way throgh all that is available to you on t he Internet. Browsers like Mozilla Firefox. Safari, Internet Explorer and more are now joined by Chrome - newfrom GOOGLE -and others. Each of the browsers are set up so that your navigating the internet gets you to URLs you need while helping you with tools that ease search activity while protecting your privacy.

Differences between browser activities may be as small as the differences in the terms used to describe the activities or there can be features unique to different browsers. Your choice of a browser should be related to your projects or your style of work on the inernet.:
